What kind of ID do I need to present when voting?
IDs cannot be expired more than 4 years.
You only need to present one of the following:
What if I don't have one of the accepted forms of ID?
You can provide one of these supporting forms of ID and cast a regular ballot along with signing a Reasonable Impediment Declaration (attesting that you are who you say you are):
- Valid voter registration certificate (card)
- Certified birth certificate
- Current utility bill
- Bank statement
- Government check
- Any other government document with the individual’s name and address
All of these forms of supporting ID can be either a copy or the original.
